At Modalina, we’re committed to making sure you love what you ordered — but if something isn’t quite right, here’s how we handle returns and refunds in full compliance with UK consumer law.
🚫 CANCELLATIONS
Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.
If your order has already been dispatched, you’ll need to wait for it to arrive and initiate a return (if eligible). Please double-check your order details at checkout.
✅RETURN ELIGIBILITY
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To qualify:

Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition

Tags and packaging must be fully intact

You must include your order number or confirmation email

A valid reason for the return must be provided
📮 RETURN SHIPPING – TRACKED SERVICE REQUIRED
All returns must be sent using a tracked shipping service.
This protects both you and us.

Returns without tracking will not be accepted or refunded

Tracking details must be shared with our team after dispatch

You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless your item is faulty)
- For items returned to our UK warehouse, an estimated cost of £25 to £30 will be deducted from your refund. This covers handling, inspection, and logistics of the returned item, including any further processing or shipping to our overseas warehouse if required.
We are not liable for lost, delayed, or untracked returns, and cannot issue refunds without proof of delivery.
🚫 NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
For hygiene and compliance reasons, we do not accept returns on:

Sale or clearance items (final sale — no refunds)

Swimwear, underwear, or earrings

Custom or personalised items

Gift cards or downloadable digital products
These conditions are aligned with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (Section 28).
💳 REFUNDS
Refunds will be processed:

Within 8–12 business days of receiving and approving your return

To your original payment method

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless your full order was incorrect or faulty
If the returned item does not meet the conditions above, we may reject the return or issue a partial refund at our discretion.
⚠️ FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

Include your order number and clear photos

We’ll resolve the issue promptly with a replacement.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.
Multiple Orders of the Same Item: If you order more than one of the same product, only one item is eligible for return. Additional identical items cannot be returned.
How to Request a Return
All return or exchange requests must be submitted exclusively through the Contact Form on our website.
We do not process requests sent through email, social media, or other channels.
This ensures your request is logged correctly and handled as quickly as possible.
